Tomorrow I will hand them over to you.” NLTJudges 21:25 – In those days Israel had no king; all the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes. NLT
How Can We Fight the Influence Moral Relativism in our own lives?
1. Fill your mind with God’s Word daily.
Psalm 119:10-11 - With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. ESV
2. Stay committed to Christian community.
Hebrews 10:24–25 - And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. ESV
3. Guard against letting IDOLS into your heart or mind.
Galatians 4:8-9 - Formerly when you did not know God, you were enslaved to beings that by nature are not gods at all. 9 But now that you have come to know God (or rather to be known by God), how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless basic forces] Do you want to be enslaved to them all over again? NET
4. Keep your eyes on JESUS.
Hebrews12:2 - Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls! MES
C.S. Lewis : “I know now, Lord, why you utter no answer. You are yourself the answer.”
