All right people — let’s take the 12 NLP meta-programs quickly in this one.
I’ve got a three-minute deadline here and a mountain of notes from my certification days, so we’re doing the lightning-tour.
1. Motivation Direction — Towards or Away From.
Do you move toward pleasure or away from pain?
This one alone can predict your entire decision-making pattern. Advantages, disadvantages — we’ll map those by Nakshatra later.
2. Attention Direction — Self or Others.
Are you primarily tuned to your needs, or do you first track everyone else’s?
3. Frame of Reference — Internal or External.
When you evaluate something, do you go inward and check your own standards…
or do you check the outside world for cues, validation, or feedback?
4. Proactive or Reactive.
Not what you’ve been trained to do — but your inherent drive.
Do you initiate?
Or do you wait for the right moment?
5. Options or Procedures.
When given a task, do you ask, “What are my options?”
or
“Give me the step-by-step procedure”?
6. Views — General or Specific.
Is your first impulse the big picture…
or the details?
7. Work Preferences — Together, Proximity, or Solo.
Together = big teams.
Proximity = you’ll sit near them but not with them.
Solo = leave me alone, I’ll do it.
8. Experience — Association or Dissociation.
Do you feel inside the experience, like an empath?
Or do you observe yourself from outside, like an analyst?
9. Matching or Mismatching.
Do you first notice similarities?
Or do you first notice differences?
10. Time Experience — In-Time or Through-Time.
This one is deep.
Some people feel past behind them and future ahead — that’s In-Time.
Others see past to one side and future to the other — that’s Through-Time.
11. Primary Interest Motivation — People, Places, Activities, or Things.
What grabs your attention first?
Human beings?
Locations?
Doing things?
Or objects and resources?
And that’s the 12 NLP meta-programs — wrapped up fast.
From the next short onward…
I’m going to map each of these subconscious patterns directly to the 27 Nakshatras of Jyotish — one of the most powerful psychological models ever created.
Stay tuned — this bridge between NLP and Vedic Astrology is going to be eye-opening.
