Not to be confused with Zombie For Sale, this is a comedy for the most part. It stars Merry from Lord of the Rings and the Beast from the 1980s Beauty and the Beast.
Not really a zombie movie. There are 4 1/2 zombies in it, a vampire, and an alien. And it tells the story of Willy and Arthur, two Victorian era grave robbers who are about to be executed. After Willy gets the chop, Dominic Monaghan's Arthur is visited by Rob Perlman's Father Duffy to take his confession.
With the confession in the cell being the only scenes in the movie without constant bloody music, and an obvious plot twist you can see from a mile away this movie is NOT as suggested by the DVD box, "a horror comedy that surpasses Shaun of the Dead." Get in the sea! Go on! Get in the sea!
Also there is a woman called Fanny. (Stop laughing at the back)
For what it was I gave it 5/10 as it is on par with the Australian The Undead, whilst having a few annoying gimmicks such as the freeze frame and illustration of the scene to look like a comic book we have seen in loads of other movies.
I can see why it cost $450,000, I can also see why it only made $8,000 at the box office. It was quite forgettable, despite the two jokes I have already forgotten, and a woman called Fanny. (lol)
