Murder charges 15 years later in missing Skelton brothers case: Why now?

The father of missing Michigan brothers Alexander, Andrew and Tanner Skelton was arraigned on Monday on three counts of murder. This is despite that fact that the young boys' bodies have not been found. What evidence might investigators have?
