$75 million in public funding approved for Renaissance Center redevelopment

The Downtown Development Authority in Detroit has approved $75 million to help in the redevelopment of the Ren Cen. The money is a small part of the 1.6 billion dollar project that involves businessman Dan Gilbert, his company Bedrock and General Motors.
