Lesley Stahl on interviewing the band Spinal Tap

In early October 2025, 60 Minutes aired a segment with Lesley Stahl about the highly anticipated sequel to the 1984 mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap. For the piece, Stahl interviewed the actors Christopher Guest and Michael McKean, who remained in character as Nigel Tufnel and David St. Hubbins throughout the interview. The surreal encounter left Stahl confused as to whether she was "in or out of the movie".
