Jimbo assembles the Euro crew as Julien Laurens, Pol Ballús, Seb Stafford-Bloor and James Horncastle chat through all the weekend’s domestic drama - and look ahead to MD2 in the Champions League.
In Serie A, there was a statement of intent from Milan in their 2-1 win over Napoli on Sunday night to take Max Allegri’s side top of the table. They’re on 12 points alongside the men from Naples and Roma - who made it four wins from five against Hellas Verona.
Real Madrid were handed a shock on Saturday afternoon - beaten 5-2 by city rivals Atleti to end their perfect start to the season in emphatic fashion. Elsewhere, injury-ravaged Barcelona took full advantage - into first place after their come from behind, 2-1 win over Real Sociedad. But what shape are they in to take on PSG on Wednesday night?
Speaking of - the French champions eased to a 2-0 win over Auxerre after their defeat by Marseille last Monday. Lyon moved level on points at the top with Luis Enrique’s side courtesy of a goal from Tyler Morton in their 1-0 victory at Lille.
And in the Bundesliga - Harry Kane smashed yet more records, as his brace in Bayern’s 4-0 win over Werder Bremen meant he became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five leagues.
All that plus the Labubu black market, Panama hats - and a celebration of 0-0’s.
