Commander Teasdale In the Dragonlands

Tensy Teasdale is back in the kingdom navy. That's the good news. The bad news is she's back on HMS Duke Aragorn under a captain and First Officer who are out for her blood.

Yes, her husband is a Knight of the Table Round and his inventions are improving the lives of people all across the Kingdom Isles, but she still has enemies in the Admiralty. She won't let Peter intervene with the assignment because she's a Kingdom officer and, much as she loves Peter, she doesn't want to be on the beach. If she rejects this assignment she probably won't get another.

Captain Tucker and First Officer Barnes are no happier to see her than she is to see them. But now Tensy has powerful friends and their options are limited.

Then, Gregory Plimpton, the most boring man in the king's court, arrives and HMS Duke Aragorn is ordered to carry him and his staff to the Dragonlands in order to establish an embassy and a College of Wizardry. With the goal of enlisting the Dragons against Emperor Carlos Napalalto of Parise. Of course the Parise spies in the kingdom learn of the mission and the Emperor wants it stopped.

Tensy must travel half way around the world under the command of a Captain who hates her, on a fool's errand. While the navies of Parise and Nasine try to kill them all.

While Tensy is busy the rest of the world still spins. Peter is still inventing gadgets and the Chosen Orcs of the Rifles are going about their business and finding out things that no one has considered.

The world is about to completely change and that change will follow Tensy all the way to the Dragonlands.
