PennDOT: Overnight work on I-95 south complete

PennDOT says it’s finished with the recent overnight closures of southbound I-95 for the Penn’s Landing cap project. Since early June, PennDOT has been detouring overnight traffic off of southbound 95 at the Vine Expressway from Sundays through Thursdays so that crews could install beams to support the concrete cap over the highway. The left northbound lane had also been closed between Spruce and Market Streets during that work. The $329 million CAP project is expected to be completed in 2028. (photo credit: Getty Images)
