SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey threw some shade at Nebraska earlier this week…but how many people would push back on his premise?

Sankey was on with The Dan Patrick Show recapping the SEC Spring Meetings, and when Dan Patrick asked him about how we can keep some rivalries and great non-conference games in college football, Sankey mentioned the fact that we had games like Wake Forest/Ole Miss and Nebraska/Tennessee scheduled this year and next year that got the rug pulled underneath them

He said in Nebraska’s case, he acknowledged Troy Dannen’s reasoning, but he also said that the playoff itself takes away from the regular season and potential great matchups
