The guys interviewed NBA scout Mark Cook and Zack Nagy, an LSU reporter for Sports Illustrated. Cook discussed the top prospects in this year's NBA draft class ahead of the 2025 lottery. Nagy gave an update on LSU ace Kade Anderson and praised Saturday starter Anthony Eyanson. Jeff Duncan, a columnist for The Times-Picayune, joined Sports Talk to recap the Derek Carr offseason "saga" and review the Saints' rookie minicamp. Duncan projected "breakout" players for New Orleans in 2025. Mike, Steve, and Charlie played their daily "Triple Option" segment. Steve and Charlie shared live updates from the NBA's 2025 Draft lottery. Oleh Kosel, a credentialed NBA reporter, joined Steve and Charlie to discuss the draft lottery's fallout. Kosel questioned if the Pelicans will keep the seventh overall pick in the draft.
