Marvel Studios' President Kevin Feige announced at D23 Expo that Lumbly would return in the role of 'Isaiah Bradley' in the highly anticipated feature length version, "Captain America: Brave New World," which Walt Disney Studios released theatrically on February 14, 2025. Lumbly received glowing reviews for his performance, with Collider proclaiming, "Humanity is the name of the game for Carl Lumbly's Isaiah Bradley, who is the film's almost exclusive source of thematic weight and emotion with yet another passionate performance as a truly dark and tragic character in this comic book world."
