To win the heart of Princess Luna, daughter of the Chief of Chiefs, Moxton Metis, must find and kill the elusive white deer and bring her its fur. He is not alone in this quest. Most of the men of the tribe want to marry the beautiful girl. All of them are after the same prize, for what brave wouldn't want to marry the Chief's daughter. Moxtin figures he knows where the albino deer might be, but it is a place that is dangerous, and sacred. A place where none of the other hunters dare go. Moxtin isn't afraid, mostly because his friends might be willing to help him.
