Narration Excruciating

It was very difficult to get to the end of the book because the virtual narration is terrible. Intonation totally off, difficulty determining which character was speaking and emphasis in wrong places. The only reason I finished the book was because I liked the story.

Great story!

I love that this is just the beginning. The characters were intriguing. I want more!
This book uses virtual voice, I had no issues with it. If you don't like books using virtual voice, don't listen to them. It's the story that really counts.

Get rid of Ai.

The Story piqued my interest from the first chapter. I was curious where it was going most of the time.

The Ai narration made me want to throw my earbuds into the abyss. What a waste of electricity. Authors, please don't let your book be victim to Ai narration. It ruins the experience for your readers. I'd rather you not offer any audio than offer this steaming pile.

Balance

What a story. Vampire, witches, small town, love story. Trigger warnings with drinking and bullying. I love the fact that this story takes place in Maine. This is my home state. The description of the island is bang on. Cute 17 year old girl falling for an older man. Twist vampire. More twists with witches, medium, and readings. Interesting twist with the stepmom and a gentleman and their twitching. And the ending of the book blew my mind. I cannot wait to see what happens. I don’t like the single narrative AI. Words being miss pronounced, but otherwise it was a good book. Highly recommend.

if you love twilight. this is the book for you. very close to twilight or vampire diaries. excellent book
