Ava's Choice

When tragedy strikes, Ava Thompson finds herself grieving in her dad's basement. That is, until he reminds her fate's given her a second chance at life. Determined not to waste whatever time she has left, Ava packs her bags for sunny San Diego to finish off her final semester of college. There she befriends charismatic Jack Miller, who’s dealing with his own grief. Ava and Jack soon discover they have far more in common than meets the eye, even down to the date their grief began.

As the past slowly catches up to her, Ava accepts Jack’s invitation to a grief support group. Surrounded by hurting people, Ava finds herself slowly letting go of the painful past. A past she wasn’t sure she was ready to make peace with.
