On a trip back from Scotland, the ship that carries Lady Autumn is caught in a bad storm and is forced to dock. But when he falls ill as well, he needs to find a healer who is willing to step foot inside Ravenscar Castle. He hears of a lady with a miraculous healing touch whose ship has docked on his shores. So he kidnaps Lady Autumn and brings her to his castle as his prisoner, forcing her to use her skills to help him. But Lady Autumn's touch is much more than healing to his physical body. Her presence in his life starts to heal his soul as well.

A dark lord and a lady of light are brought together by force, but can the touch of love change the lives of a woman who wants nothing to do with the scarred man who is said to be naught more than the gatekeeper of hell?

Elizabeth rose has done it again, turned a kidnapping into an adventure about what is right and what everyone thinks you should do. she shows that even bad guys can change for love

A medieval story of the beauty and the beast

Autumn has a special healing touch that she has used to help the nuns with healing men who served in the King's war.
Now she is longing for something new, maybe an adventure. When her ship was forced to land on the shores below the dreaded Ravenscar Castle, Autumn is kidnapped and brought to the castle.
Lord Ravenscar is sick and needs Autumn's touch before it's too late.
Can Autumn help the beast? Can he be healed of his illness as well as his black heart?
Wonderful re-telling of the beauty and the beast fairytale.
The narrator made the story come alive.
Highly recommend!

Really a touch of gold!

What a fabulous tale. I loved some characters, I loved hating the others- they're so well written! Autumn is a tender, caring lass, Nannie is at her side, and Lord Ravenscroft is in for a devilish ride! Keep some tissues handy, and as always... use headphones if there are children present for the bedroom scenes 😉

disappointed

First 2 books were great. This one was disappointing. Story was slopy, missing the flow and smart plot of previous 2 books. The narrator was great , story itself not so much!

Can she tame the beast

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator brings you into the story and keeps your attention. Lady Autumn's ship must make a docking at Ravenscar Castle during a storm. No one goes there. Everyone is afraid of the Lord, he is considered a beast. Little does she know the old Lord has died and a new Lord, Benedict has taken his place. Autumn has been struck by lightning and now has a healing power. She will need it to survive. Follow their struggles. Can she trust the new Lord and can he open his heart.

Third in the series

Autumn is interesting and at times you feel sorry for her at times you want to shake her.
This story is interesting and I loved it.
Brian J. Gill does a good job bringing the story to life.

E R is a very good story teller.

So far the series has been very compelling. Can't wait for book four to become available.

Fantastic

Autumn had a magic touch to heal. She believed in love, life and one’s destiny can be changed by it. Sir Benedict Grenfell not only felt her touch to heal him, but felt his heart stir. Elizabeth has brought us another great story and Brian did a super job narrating it!
