Great collection!

I love short story collections. This one did not disappoint. While there were some in here that were not to my liking, it was due to my own personal taste rather than anything to do with the stories themselves.

I love Halloween and fall itself so this really put me into the spirit of the season.

I suggest to everyone who likes short stories to get this book! It is definitely worth it!

Great collection of short stories

I really enjoyed this collection of short stories. Each one kept my interest and is the perfect read for a good Halloween night or a cozy fall evening. The narrator did a wonderful job throughout the stories. I would recommend reading or listening. (I received this audio book as an arc and am leaving a voluntary honest review)

A few of the stories are ok. Only a couple of stories are pretty good and well thought out, and well written. Some are so awful and and poorly written, I wondered if a high school student wrote it. Be aware that this seems geared toward young teenagers. However I would not recommend even for those teeny boppers. I think any reasonably mature person would be dissapointed. I now know to avoid these autumn nights books

Mixed bag of spooky stories

There's some memorable stories mixed in with a few that were honestly difficult to get through. Narrator did a great job throughout them all though and made the most mundane ones at least tolerable. Pretty good buy for any Autumn/Halloween enthusiasts.

Exactly what you think it is

This is a good selection of short stories all with autumn as their commonality. Perfect for something non-committal or if you just want to invoke the feeling of fall.

Gruesome horror tales

This book contains tales of horror and mischief that will make sleep with the lights on. Some tales will make you scream at the characters or wish you could protect them. Some tales will make you not want to go into dark rooms alone. The tales are well written with strong storylines. I loved some of the characters while I wanted to use the rest for target practice. I highly recommend this book for the tales are creative and imaginative. I received this audio book for free at my request. I am leaving my honest review voluntarily of my own volition.

Spooky without being gory.

I have really enjoyed listening to these short stories. There’s a little bit of everything spooky without being all blood and gore. I love the idea of using up and coming authors to create a book for a good cause. It’s a win win for everyone I’m really looking forward to the next in the series.

Loved it

Though with many short story books it’s usually a mix up of decent and not so great stories but with this one I truly enjoyed just about all of them there was only maybe one or two I didn’t get into that much, ninety percent of it was very good. I would definitely recommend this title to anyone looking for selection of spooky stories and side note none of the stories relied on heavy gore or sex. Just simply spooky fun tales. I was given this audio in exchange for honest review for free and I would definitely use a credit for it , well worth it.
