For Joanna, the music stopped thirty years ago when she left Charlie.

Life pulls her in every direction, but now, finally, there is only one direction left. Their reunion is now inevitable, and Joanna must finally confront her past. Will Charlie forgive her? Will he accept the consequences of the secret she has kept hidden for so long?

This is an enormous step into the unknown for Joanna; she fears Charlie's reaction but fears her own even more. She can not admit, even to herself, that she has been in love with Charlie since the first day they met. Neither thirty years nor the ocean between them has diminished that love.
