Creative storytelling regarding robots yearning to run a restaurant in tumultuous time in the future. Yes you should read. It’s refreshing

Sweet fun story

Very clever tale, tightly written. As a SF Bay Area person it was fun to hear all is landmarks. And I love the idea of California succeeding from the union.

An excellent mirror on today through a story of tomorrow.

The author paints a vivid world of what the struggle for community, belonging, and equity may look like in 50 years; Creating a lens through which we can address our challenges today. Bonus, it takes place in my favorite city in the world too!

Cute short book

This cozy story about robots running a noodle shop is really cute. Each robot has a distinct personality and motivations.

The world building is great and I'd love to explore more of the world. I could easily imagine the characters and the lovely shop they made together.

I'll be picking up a physical copy too to support the author

I loved everything about this.

If you're a fan of Becky Chambers' Monk & Robot, and other cozy reads, I can't recommend this enough. I loved all the robots, the story was sweet, the plot was good, and just like a great restaurant, it left me satisfied (but still kinda wanting more). Great narrator too! (also did Monk & Robot!)

A breathe of fresh air

Wonderful short story about building queer community despite a hostile world. As a transwoman and ramen-foodie this was perfect match to enjoy.

Story was great.

Definitely need a sequel or a series about this for sure. Maybe some spinoffs about other out of work robots.
