Grace has been posted to a church in an ancient village in the Yorkshire Wolds, with a huge and powerful standing stone watching over the graveyard. It is a friendly community, but she finds out there was a death not long before she arrived and a girl has now gone missing. While trying to be a good vicar to her flock, she can't help but be intrigued. Was the first death a murder? Has the girl run away - or is something more sinister happening?
