We live in a world where fear, depression, and anxiety are so prevalent that we experience heartache, death, and hard times, often daily. We all need to be encouraged and uplifted as we live out our life experiences. We need good fuel to keep us going. In John chapter 6, it describes how Jesus was teaching that He is the bread of life that comes down from heaven. Many were perplexed and even some were angry at this teaching. Jesus spoke directly to their reaction by explaining the very nature of His words;
“The Holy Spirit gives life. The body means nothing at all. The words I have spoken to you are full of the Spirit. They give life.” John 6:63 (NIVRV- New International Reader’s Version)

I pray that as Paul stated, you are enlightened and influenced, not by any great words of my own, but by the Holy Spirit bringing you understanding and enlightenment through His power to pierce hearts and minds.
You may be asking, how do I create spiritual growth in my life when this world seems to be falling apart? Is there any hope for my family and me? You might ask, “How can I trust God when life gets hard?”
