One should have in mind that the linking up of symbols is a dynamic process. One should also understand that one position of a planet in a certain astrological house or sign may signify 1,000 things, but we are not completely sure whether the Natus (the born) will live only one part of the story or each of the 1,000 things. For example, if there is a possibility that the Natus hurts his spine or back seriously, and that has not happened to the individual, it does not mean that it will not possibly happen one day. However, the Natus has never had problems with it. So, there is a time when the potential event could happen, which falls into the domain of predictive astrology. However, even if there is an indicator of spine injury, that injury does not have to be in real-time, but something else will happen in the same astro-symbolism (for example, father’s hard life, slow progress, heart problems).
An astrological symbol always signifies more than one thing; it is a dense field of information, which contains more possibilities in itself. In other words, there are innumerable images and situations, which the Natus (the born) will live, which possibly exists within him and which he could develop if he chooses certain life paths.
By combining one symbol with certain other symbols, we get a range of words and sentences, which emerge in certain situations. Firstly, it is important to realize the basic meaning of each symbol through three basic factors: planets, signs, houses. In each astrological card, each symbol describes the person, ourselves, what lives in us, our inner characteristics (subjective level), but also things around us—objected, manifested, outer level (what happens in reality, in the material world), which is expressed in the sphere of concrete people and concrete events.
Planets are active carriers of destiny, whereas signs and houses are the backgrounds. Planets are the essence of events, the focus of one horoscope. In the astrological sense, all lights that we can see in the sky are called planets, and therefore, it is said that there are ten planets. In reality, that number is not correct; the Moon is the earth satellite, and Pluto has been classified into dwarf planets recently. However, that is not important for astrologers, but only for astronomers. Personal planets are those nearest to us (in an astronomical sense, planets which are nearest to the Earth). The Sun and the Moon belong to that group, and in an astrological sense, they are called Lights as well—Luminaries (lights are extremely important), then Mercury, Venus, and Mars. As they are closer to the Sun (in the astronomical sense), these planets move faster, and so are more significant for a personal destiny, whereas distant planets are slower, and their influence is more shown at the mundane level (at the level of world events). Personal planets are significators (an astrological expression which means indicator) of everyday life.
