Unbelievable! My father’s fourth wife’s nephew is both awful and annoying! He’s staying with us - taking up far too much driveway space in that enormous behemoth of an SUV.
I have enough on my plate without him taking off his shirt at every opportunity, as if he's the Moon Goddess's gift to women. What an idiot.
He thinks he can outsmart me by taking me to dinner?
Let that werewolf try.
I take him, instead, to the very place he least expects me to be…a homeless shelter. That will teach him! And if he, for one moment, thinks that all his friendly chatting with the homeless, diligent cleaning and cooking, and lovely sociable smiles will make me like him, he’s wrong.
The only nice thing about this guy is his cologne, or shampoo, or aftershave, or whatever he uses. I’m not sure what it is, but it makes that dreadful, cocky werewolf smell divine.
Later, at my family’s charity ball, he tells me something that makes my body positively thrum. And now, I’m not so certain that he has been such an annoyance. And maybe I do want to see him with his shirt off. Just to peek...
