Sam puts together a list of potential suspects that includes a jealous ex-boyfriend, a plagiarist who is using students’ work as their own, and Rick, Sam’s soon to be ex. A local news reporter with connections to one of the plagiarized students becomes involved too. When another student is murdered, and Sam’s home is ransacked and her life threatened, it becomes clear that Sam is more prey than hunter. That’s when Mr. Fantini, his ever present bodyguard, the police and Sam’s friends and family realize that Sam is in danger and scramble to find her before she becomes the next victim.
