A furious King crusades across land and sea, seeking the Queen he was promised who escaped him. Slaughtering her people, the High Priestess’ family and an entire lineage of women who were said to be personally blessed by their God, Virun, the King managed to abolish the Vrasur People and the threat from the great magical powers they possessed.
Meanwhile, Kate, unaware of her importance, dwells in the kingdoms’ fold. Torn out of her nurse’s arms as a child, she was told to learn all she could about the seventh daughter’s seventh daughter and the Three Ring Ritual necessary to channel the blessing and enormous power source from Virun.
In the pivotal time and in the greatest hour to behold, the seventh daughter’s seventh daughter will unfold.
“Kate is my kind of heroine - strong, caring, and feisty. And I loved that Liam respected her choices and will to lead. Such a fantastic tale with twists and turns that will grab your attention and refuse to let go until the very end!” - USA Today Bestselling Author Lexi C. Foss

“Idiotic woman, how can you be so naive that you leave the Manors without notifying me?” he screamed, before he spun round to Gullam. “And you,” he barked, pointing at him. “We’ll have a talk, you and me. Damn it, you’ll explain how you could agree to this. Are you out of your mind?” Liam ground the words out between his teeth.
Liam grabbed hold of Kate’s arm, pulling her in through the cave entrance, still outraged.
“Do you understand what you’ve done? I have had to leave my post as Lieutenant in the army, delaying helping my father to plan the war and…”
Liam abruptly stopped, staring at the vision in front of him.
“Holy Virun…”
He looked at Kate’s tearstained face and pulled his fingers nervously through his hair. It was as if his anger increased even more, yet he was conflicted into dampening his outrage.
“This could have been you! Dead!”
He let go of Kate’s arm and sank down to sit on a rock. Again, he pulled his fingers though his hair. Incredulously, he flapped with his hands at what he saw; a massacre.
“For goodness’s sake, Kate!”
He clasped his hands together and rested his chin on them thoughtfully. “I could have lost you,” he murmured, his voice muffled and thick with grief.
