Action, adventure, and exciting plot twists
Anne Wilson drops everything to help her friend, Sandy. Anne has no one since the death of her family years before and her preference to live a quiet, solitary life is thrown aside for her dear and only friend. The day Anne is due to leave several things happen – missing money, untraceable bank transfers, and more! Once Anne arrives on the island of Saint Martin the weirdness continues. Mysterious texts from Sandy and two – not one but two – handsome men are interested in her! Anne’s life just went from silent to very loud and complicated!
The author, MHR Greer, crafts a clever mystery with action, romance, secrets, betrayal, and more! Greer builds each character succinctly and engagingly. One cannot help but become entwined in the story and feel every moment of fear, betrayal, loss, and spark of romance. Greer is very adept at weaving a complex mystery yet also keeps it clear and easy to follow. She is elusive in providing the listener with every single clue, keeping them vague enough to grab the attention of the listener and keeping them hooked from beginning to end.
The narrator, Liz May Brice, is wonderful. She is skilled at projecting the character's emotions and actions to the listener. She speaks clearly and with contagious energy. Great choice of narrator for this story.
I highly recommend this book as it has everything a mystery lover enjoys including action, adventure, and exciting plot twists.
There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook.
