Ask Aunt Emma to Take the Fifth

A letter to Aunt Emma says, “My twins have different fathers.” To complicate matters, the letter has been written by a woman known to Peg. The incredible secret threatens the life of a teenage boy and the career of a high profile politician. Peg’s attempts to help get her involved in the murder of a mobster and the theft of valuable bottles of whiskey. Peg and John leave the chaos behind to take a European cruise with their friends, Rocky and Billy. On the cruise they meet Delta Dawn, an eccentric who has adopted the persona of the girl in the song. The four travelers are soon enmeshed in Delta Dawn’s problems and when they dock in Ireland, they are drawn into more intrigue and danger connected to the unsolved murder of the Chicago mobster. Peg’s, ghostly ally, George, is right there to make sure things are properly resolved on land and on sea.
