Lucien Voss, a centuries-old vampire, wakes from his long slumber to find the world emptied of humankind. Cities lie in ruins. The air hums with divine silence. Only the predators remain — other vampires, wild beasts, and the last scraps of humanity: murderers, zealots, and the damned.

As Lucien wanders the desolate world, he discovers whispers of what happened — the Rapture has come and gone, and those left behind are trapped in a forsaken world where faith is ash and blood is prayer.

Haunted by angels seen weeping in the sky and dreams of Heaven burning, Lucien searches for redemption among the ruins. But when he meets the Blood Prophet — a vampire nun who preaches salvation through damnation — Lucien’s struggle becomes more than survival. It becomes a reckoning with what it means to be chosen… or left behind.
