Wonderful story and message on prayer

I love the way she taught her teacher husband to look for God. Pray about everything handle everything God‘s perfect will I was very impressed. Call Lazy second of her books that I read it. Such a wonderful message like this wonderful spiritual habits to get in to

Principle of Encouragement in All Seasons of Life Proven Here

These truths kind of sum up this wonderful book, Ariel Custer: Life sometimes seems unbearably difficult. People who give and love and do rightly are often unfairly trampled for long terms of suffering. But always, for the believer, the faithfulness of God proves rock steady every single time. He restores, in the end, and gives incredulous joy that outshines all past times of darkness. Putting our hope and trust in God and his faithfulness never disappoints.

Well…

This book is so depressing!! I liked it, but it starts out
1. Her Mother, Father and Grandma are all dead (her only relatives)
2. She doesn’t have like any money
3. She has to sell her childhood home
4. She had a position that she was going to take in town but the person who was going to be her boss apparently wrote her a letter telling her not to come but Ariel hadn’t received it so she came to the city for nothing.
5. Her new gentleman friend has an extremely abusive mother who is bent on having him married (and NOT to Ariel)
6. Ariel and Judd want to get married but they can’t because they don’t have enough money and because of Judd’s Mother.
7. Ther sweet friend Miss Dillan goes missing and is supposed to be murdered and that Ariel and Judd are the ones who murdered her. Not True. It turns out that she had just run away and got married.
I love the parts where Ariel and Judd are talking about the Lord their Savior, and how she tells him to trust in Jesus, and sends him Bible verses. ( there is a lot of Christian stuff in this book) I also like how the author proves to the characters that God is in control when Emily just walks right into the courthouse.
Another thing that I like/hate/sweet/simple/slightly annoying about it and lots of other Grace Livingston Hill books is that the romance is RRREEEAALLLYYYYY predictable. (Which also makes it nice and easy to fall asleep to and/or if you’ve had a bad day and you just want to listen to something sweet and lighthearted. Ummmm…maybe don’t do that with this book.
I love all the other Grace Livingstone Hill books, but this one is definitely not my favorite.
Also, if you’re like, oh no!! Now I’m not gonna read this book! I suggest just trying it and sending it back if you don’t like it. You might have a different opinion than mine. I do tend to get slightly dramatic. (Hehe!)
The narrator isn’t that bad actually; in some of her other book she is really annoying. She did an average job in this one. (I was surprised). Her voice can get kind of bland and robot-y. (If you know know what I mean). Sometimes this book is hard to follow and I’m not sure if that’s because of the narrator or the author or I don’t understand all of it (BTW I am a 10 year old 6th grader so you are completely free to not believe a word I’ve said).
If you want to try something more funny and lighthearted then you should try The Enchanted Barn or A Daily Rate. The Miranda Trilogy is also really good.
Overall, this read wasn’t bad. (Although I’m pretty sure it caused some weird dreams that I can’t really remember). I loved all the Christian parts; those are especially sweet. This could have been funnier and a little lighter but it was still pretty good.

I love Grace Livingston Hill's books! They are so beautifully written and Anne Hancock is such a delightful narrator!
