Can’t wait to read part two, he left us hanging but in a good way. Start working on the sequel

Different and interesting!

I like the storytelling and Appalachian folklore. The storyline and descriptions kept the book interesting.

Not sure how much I like the AI Voice

The story was great! It's the second book I've listened to by Brower and I loved it. The AI voice sort of distracts and takes away from the story when the inflection is wrong or when it says a word that is pronounced 2 ways. At one point it said "bow" (as in bowing down) when it meant "bow" (as in the tool you play a violin with). I can get passed it but I wouldn't want to listen to every book this way.
