Good story

Narration left something to be desired. Perhaps at times too much detail. A good story.

Good introduction to the life of an Apache pilot. Would’ve been nice to get a British voice actor, but the dude here does a great job.

A heroic story by a humble hero

A thrilling view into a British Apache squadron. It also shows how important everyday people are to the preservation of our society.

Better with a British reader

Good book, but since the author and story is British, I would have preferred a British reader rather than an American one.

Amazing

This is an amazing book all around and I must read for anyone. As an American infantryman as well as someone who’s about to go through flight school, this super really interesting.

Great glimpse into the duty life of a Apache Pilot.

Great Narration. The book has technical information, but it us not over technical as to come across as a text book.

Great Story

Great story telling, made it feel like I was part of the experience. I highly recommend this to anyone that is into military aviation & operations. This also talks about the battle that strapped Royal Marines to the side of the Apaches.
100% will listen again.

Gripping storytelling

Towards the end it is as if you are on the same comms as the pilots right in the middle of the action.

Movie

Tom Cruise needs to make a movie based on this book. Intense true story. Well read.

It kept me finding time to listen.

OK, I loved this book, but I do have a complaint. Since the book was written by a Brit, it should have been read by a Brit. The reader is excellent, but his American voice kept making me think that the author was an American.
