In pursuit of his quest for knowledge, Equality 7-2521 struggles to answer the questions that burn within him.

chapter 11 really packs a punch! this needs to be suggested reading/listening in today's high school education. it's simple enough for the growing mind, while it sparks that permission to realize yourself as a powerful individual.

concise story, excellent world building

the story seems fast, events move from one thing to the next without very much thought. it's not that the events didn't make sense from one to the next, but I felt like there were certain details that were missing that I would have loved to have. overall it is a very concise story, the philosophical argument seems fairly clear if not a bit preachy, but it is a beautifully concise and descriptive narrative nonetheless.

This is the most beautiful short story I ever read. A beacon of sanity and freedom.

The story of Adam and Eve

This book is a closer look at how powerful the individual is. This book is also a cautionary story about the dangers of collectivist thought and the immorality of “we.” The power of the individual is in their mind and the wonders it can create. Worth a listen.

Great narrator and book!

Loved the narrator and the book! Very thought provoking! My daughter had to read this for a high school class so I wanted to read it as well. Well worth it.
