Insightful for men

I'm a Muslim man, not seeking a second wife but familiar with polygynous arrangements. I've got brothers in my community who have two wives. Of course this is only a story but it's actually revealing in that it shows how westerners practice and view polygamy. I thought the story was simple, yet intriguing. Character development was good. I was actually impressed with the AI narration, I didn't think it was too bad considering it's a machine. polygamy is stigmatized, even in Muslim communities, despite the fact that it's considered Halal (permissible) under the right conditions. you'd be hard pressed to find a Muslim who would argue against the practice, but who don't want it for themselves (with the exception of the men). Western practice of polygamy is completely immoral, that's the main thing I got out of this book.
