For a start the narrator is superb: clear, with good nuances and character voices and pauses. He makes it a pleasure to listen to and this makes a big difference! Beyond that, these are classic Greek Mythology stories, like that of Hercules. They are in full detail and hold so many metaphors and morals for life and how to live. Outstanding!

Really excellent!

Courtney Grant's Ancient Greek Mythology vividly brings the gods, goddesses, and heroes of the ancient Greeks to life. Before today, I had never heard the tales delivered in such a way. The stories were honest and captivating, covering every aspect of the subject matter and leaving me wanting to know more. Uranus produced the Titans with the help of his mother, Gaia, a Primotheus goddess, mother of all the earth realm; Uranus then banished his cyclops (one-eyed) and several-armed offspring to the underworld. After Chronus, their son defeats Uranus and maintains his power by swallowing his babies; we move to the hidden Zeus, who conquers and deceives his father by freeing his five siblings. The stories about the Greek gods and goddesses are mysterious and fascinating because they portray the influence and agency of these celestial figures. The reflection sections of each narrative enhance our understanding of the Greek civilizations. We witness the beginnings of humanity, the progression of their divine encounters, and the offspring that resulted from these encounters. We see the heroic feats of Hercules and Achilles. The Greek Tales go on, leaving you more knowledgeable and entertained. This audiobook is worth buying. I highly recommend this audiobook.
