What happens next.....next....next....engaging

Once again, I am pleasantly surprised gratefully so that taking the 'risk' to engage with a genre that is not my general fare has been an outstanding experience. I was given a copy of this audio book by the author and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a mystery with an wonderful story line and amazing well developed characters to grab this and take a seat for the duration. I didn't want to anything but listen to Nikki Loy bring the adventure to life. In all honesty I believe that anything MK Turner writes is worth the cost whatever media you prefer...Her choice for narrators is what keeps me listening rather than using other media. MK's skill and the amazing narration brings a dynamic to the story that makes it so real and consuming in a wonderful way. Call it relaxation or escapism either works. I would easily give this particular book more than 5 stars. Enjoy I sure did. I will listen to this book again.

An Unexpected Gift

This is the 2nd book in the Bearing Witness series. As always there are some twists and turns involved to keep you guessing. Overall it was very enjoyable to listen too.
Bridget must solve a case of a missing person. She gets her reluctant daughter, Margaret and grand daughter, Angie to help. With only their “curse” to guide them they have little to go on but as things become more clear they find some surprising info and are off and running.
The police on this case seemed to be unable to resolve anything back when Theresa first went missing many years ago and the current ones involved are not much better- crucial evidence is left at a crime scene, potential witnesses are not looked into.
But then I guess there would be no cold case for the ladies to work on.

Complicated

It's true, the last 50 years of our life are affected by the first 20, Childhood scars can affect us so much.

Nikki Loy did a good job narrating.
