Tom Stanberry, a fifty year-old philosopher has not been the same ever since his wife died. The only woman he has been with is Josephine, a talented and savvy romance writer. But even Josephine isn’t enough to keep Tom happy. He needs a change of scenery, to get away from all the widows in town desperate to make him their next husband. Luckily, he knows just the place. It’s time to rewind the clock and return to his small hometown in the heart of Texas. Little does he know, that twenty-five years can change many things, and he’s got plenty to catch up on. However, reconnecting with old friends isn’t what he’s here for. It isn’t long before he finds himself wandering through the local cemetery…and that’s where he meets Daniela, a nineteen year old beautiful young girl, the spitting image of Tom’s old lover, Elvira, her long dead mother. Caught up in the moment, Tom convinces himself that in order for him to find peace and happiness, he needs to make Daniela his wife. But fate has other plans, and he realizes what a foolish old man he's been.
