Maeve was alone in the world now and wasn't sure what she should do. She took a job waiting tables and cleaning the dining room and happened to find a newspaper clipping that was advertising for mail order brides in a town called Blizzard in the United States.

While reading the ad, she happened to see a faint green shimmer glowing from her shamrock necklace. The more she thought about the ad, a sense of peace came over her and a warmth of courage spread from her head to her toes.
