Kim Beyer-Nelson and Sue Sutherland-Hanson respond to the different names of the divine, drawing from the Christian West, Muslim Middle East, and the Eastern home of Hindus and Buddhists. These poems invite a spectrum of seekers, from new mothers to seasoned monks, in liturgical community or in solitude, to open to the depth of every season's NOW. While this collection shows how the arts can be used in meditative community, it's important to share that the first year's proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the social justice cause of healthy oceans. In this way the poets invite you into an active demonstration of how the contemplative arts can participate in social action.
