I had previously read The Elephant Whisperer and this lovely book by Francoise was a wonderful follow-up story of Tulu Tulu Reserve. I would recommend this book to all animal lovers!!

Great Sequel to The Elephant Whisperer

I loved this adventure in a South African Game Reserve. If you love animals, this is a good one.

The love and dedication to saving the animals is what I loved the most.

I liked that there wasn’t and cursing, just an abundance of love for the animals and the people who worked hard to save them.

A must read following The Elephant Whisperer

Loved The Elephant Whisperer so this was a great follow-up story. I highly recommend it and suggest reading it after the other one.

Beautifully written account of animal conservation

Excellent! I absolutely loved this book and the Elephant Whisperer. My hats off to all who are involved with these conservation efforts and building safer refuges for the animals slaughtered and orphaned by poachers.

Excellent sequel to The Elephant Whisperer

I wasn’t sure how much new information this book would provide having read The Elephant Whisperer by the author’s late husband. I was pleasantly surprised. She expertly built on a few stories from that book, telling things from her point of view, and shared so much more!

An excellent read/listen - highly recommend for any animal lover or anyone with conservation/environment interests.

Not only does she discuss her work with the elephants, but also other animals they have rescued (rhinos), and how she built an animal orphanage. It’s raw and emotional at times as she discusses the horrors of animal poaching - which she has had to deal with too often. But her perseverance, hope, and commitment to advocating for and saving these animals is inspirational.
