Lux Lexington is in trouble. She lost her job as a tour guide in touristy Salem, and she needs money. Fast.
Jesse Crane is the youngest member of a food dynasty. His parents and both of his siblings own successful restaurants in Boston. He wants to join them, but he wants to do it on his own terms.
Enter the Salem food truck competition. The winner gets a prime spot in downtown Salem, a guaranteed way to make oodles of money. This will solve both Lux’s and Jesse’s problems.
There’s just one little issue they have to overcome. They don’t really like one another. Lux can’t cook and is willing to fake it until she makes it. Jesse can cook but planning and presentation are his weak points.
They need each other. Can they overlook their differences, and the budding desire that’s bubbling up between them, though? The gauntlet has been thrown. Winner takes all. Can you say yum?
