So, she pretends to have amnesia, hiding out within the Amish community, lying to everyone--especially Dominic.
As Adriana and Dominic grow closer, she feels more guilty with each passing day about lying, especially after they took her in when she was a stranger. But time is running out, and Adriana’s niece needs her now more than ever.

Don't like virtual voice!
This story wasn't overly exciting BUT the virtual voice made it even worse! There was no change when different characters were talking so you couldn't tell who was talking until after the conversation. I will listen at the beginning of all stories to make sure the narrator is not a virtual voice! I will NOT listen to a book this way again!

Virtual Voice is not for me
I was not able to listen long. I'm sure the story is great and I might like to read the books later but I could not listen to the computerized voice any longer than I did. It didn't take long for that voice to get on my nerves and give me a headache. That is not what I pay for! I started my account years ago as a way to distract me from the people around me at work and to keep me focused on my computer so that I could get more work done. That virtual voice is not soothing nor is it anything to catch my attention. I want a narrator to catch my attention and hold it in an exciting story or to soothe my mine in a story that is calm and soothing. This virtual voice does neither for me. Sorry Audible but if all the books in the Plus Catalog resort to the Virtual Voice, you will lose a long time customer.
