This book shines a light on the stories that usually get left out; people, events, and moments that really shaped America but don’t always make the headlines. It’s easy to read and surprisingly eye-opening. If you love history or just want a fresh take on it, this is a great place to start.

If you are expecting a boring histoy lesson this is definitely not the book! It will uncover hidden history that you had no idea that it happened! I am actually glad that I gave this book a try, since it expanded my knowledge!
