**Includes all three novels (Medusa Falling, The Thief & The Universe Within) in the COSMIC SHORES trilogy, plus the Extinguishing the Stars short story**
Cosmic Shores is a trilogy of independent, standalone novels that can be listened to by newcomers and Amaranthe veterans alike. Each novel is a fresh entry-point into this universe. Meet some of Amaranthe’s most dynamic, provocative characters as they venture out beyond the safety of Concord’s borders, encounter new and exciting alien species, and get themselves into bucketloads of trouble.
MEDUSA FALLING
“Can I ask where we’re going?”
“Someplace safe…as safe as anywhere on this broken, fallen world can be.”
A first contact encounter isn't supposed to kick off with a dead body.
Ambassador Marlee Marano has been dispatched to Belarria as part of a Concord initiative to meet new species and build alliances. But when an assassin murders her counterpart in front of her eyes and takes her hostage, she is plunged into an alien world on the brink of collapse.
THE THIEF
When intelligence agent Eren Savitas spots a Hesgyr running off with valuable technology, he follows the alien home—and discovers a civilization unlike any he’s ever encountered.
THE UNIVERSE WITHIN
Thousands of years ago, the Elakri were a galaxy-spanning civilization—until one day they vanished. Forced to hide themselves away in the folds of space to escape an unstoppable foe, what was once their salvation soon became their prison.
Alex Solovy and Caleb Marano search the cosmos for signs of an ancient enemy’s return. When they detect a breach in the fabric of space, however, they discover something wholly unexpected: a people lost in time and space, who have forgotten all they once were.

Most of my favorite characters are in this set, and they have exciting, meaningful, and well thought out adventures. The long running story continues to keep me enthralled.
The newest species and chars are deep, interesting, and charismatic as ever! (I don’t want to butcher the spellings so I won’t try.)
GSJ, Well done! Amaranthe is really my favorite book series of all time. It has all my favorite subjects, and a fascinating long running storyline with strong characters, who are actually likable. And, the love. Every sci-fi adventure series needs the L-O-V-E!
Pyper’s reading is great, as always. Her voice for Caleb is so good! While I’m listening, I forget there is a woman reading his part.
GSJ, Please don’t ever think of changing readers for this series. PD’s voices make these characters pop and now they are engrained as part and parcel of the characters. The only affectation I didn’t love as much was the one for Laurent—but it is still better than so many others can do!
I’m still yearning for more Marley. More Arin. More Nix, please. I’d love for Caleb to have another adventure of his own and a coming-back-together with Alex.
Those big nasty “Zhavar” that are coming are scaring me. And, I cannot wait for what’s next!
