The alphas are not so alpha but they are strong and protective. All four are stand alone stories that are cute, sweet and steamy. “Take Me” - This is a cute and sexy story! It's a fairly quick read and listen that is a fun story between an older sexy man and a younger curvy lady. Blair's brother gets her a job working with his friend at his friend’s ice cream shop. Blair is skeptical about working at the ice cream shop sense she is curvy, insecure and a touch clumsy. When Shane and Blair meet its instant attraction. He is so patient, protective and sweet with her. I enjoyed their story. “Fired Up” = This is a cute and sexy story! It's a fairly quick read and listen that is a fun story between an older sexy man and a younger curvy lady. Anthony, is a fireman who can no longer due what he loves. He ends up having a bad case of insomnia and pacing a lot. He is trying to figure out what he wants to do now and is completely caught off guard when he meets Layla. However, Layla is fed up with her new neighbor and goes to confront him. She is not looking for a relationship. She lives for her job. It's instant attraction. This is one hot story! An elevator ride that changes everything. I enjoyed their story. “Coupled” - This is probably my favorite story in the "Alphas Forever" series. They are all stand-alone reads about a older man and younger curvy lady. This is a cute and sexy story! It's a fairly quick read and listen that is a fun story between an older sexy man and a younger curvy lady. Samantha's sister is getting married and decides the wedding party will perform a choreographed dance. Samantha has flask backs to win she was younger and making a fool out of herself with her two left feet. However, her sister is very determined. At the first lesson she meets her partner, Ethan. I absolutely love Ethan. He is so perfect for the shy and awkward Samantha. He is encouraging and helps her build confidence and self-esteem. Its instant attraction and pretty much instant love. This is one hot story that is so sweet too! “Paradise” - This is a fairly quick read and listen that is a fun story between an older sexy man and a younger curvy lady. Gemma has just graduating and is taking the opportunity to visit her older brother in Key West. She is immediately whisked from the airport to a charter boat. There she meets the grumpy captain and her brother's friend, Ryan. Its instant attraction, of course Ryan does make seem like it is, but he is definitely interested in her. Her brother is constantly gone so during her visit she and Ryan grow close. This is one hot story that is so sweet too! I like how she stands up to her brother.

Each story has its little enjoyable part

I wasn’t expecting much, and I didn’t get much. As it is a collection of 4 short stories, the meeting/falling in love part is quick–hence instalove–immediately followed by some kind of conflict, and the resolution–that happens a few weeks after the initial meeting–ends with a proposal. That’s it. That doesn’t mean I didn’t like it.

Each story has its little enjoyable part–be it extreme body positivity, introducing of a really good man, funny dancing shenanigans or a nice relationship between a brother, his sister and his best friend. I was less sold on the instalove, because it wasn’t just love at first sight, it was ‘I’m gonna marry this girl’ at first sight. Much less plausible.

The sexy stuff happens fast too, and is rushed. But, once again, short stories, so it’s understandable. And since there wasn’t much character development, each protagonist reduced to their career and/or their relationship with another character, it was neither well developed romance nor erotica.

As for the narration, a dual point of view with only one narrator is tricky, and the narrator doesn’t always manage to convey both the male and the female character’s feelings. But it wasn’t atrocious either.

Loved it

First of all I was given a free review copy of the audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review, Secondly omg these books were great I listened to it in one sitting. When one story end I was like no! but then another started, the performance and the story in general was great.

4 great reads!

these were 4 short and hot reads! every book had an alpha man who knew what he wanted and went after her and doesn't take no for an answer which is so hot! this bundle of books would be great as a long afternoon on the beach read for sure! you gotta check it out!
