Powerful, Heatfelt Story!

This book has a very powerful story of heartache, Love, Strength and Survival. I really enjoyed this book. Rachel did a fantastic job in narrating this story, because the men sounded like men and the girls sound like girls. I was very disappointed to find that book 2 is not available on audible, so until it does become available, I will not hear how this story continues.

I really wish if one book is available through audible the entire series MUST be made available, as well!

Good Story

Enjoyed this book for the most part. If you like your romantic portion to be a little more detailed, you will not get that with this book. The plot was good, the story moved along at a good pace, and the narrators voice was very pleasant. One thing I didn't care for is when they would switch to the other characters pov, and repeat the exact same thing as we just heard from the other character. And I mean verbatim. Not an expansion, but the exact same thing. Otherwise good read.

Such a great book!

This was such a great book! I wasn’t sure at first and I just wanted a book to listen to. I got attached very quickly listened to it while I work on projects or was driving. I started it 2 days ago and just finished it!

Great read!

Very well rounded with comedy! i thought it was going tohave a horrible ending halfway through, but as i stuck with the book it really surprised me.

Very good story! Some original ideas combined with traditional shifter lore. Fast paced plot. Strong characters. I want more! Why aren’t any more books available in audio?

repeats too much

The storyline was nice but when it switched from each character they repeated everything that happened. And the book was too descriptive.

Needed a narrator duet

loved the story! I wish a male could have performed Caid's chapters. Also was weird reading they shifted back to human with their clothes on. Other than that it was a great story. I hope book 2 becomes available on Audible.

pretty monotone reader

while the premise of the story was good everything was dragged out and never left a single detail out. the ending even took so long that I kept waiting for another action scene, but nothing. the reading didn't help. I don't mean to be harsh, but she just roesiseem to have much inflection or emotion to her voice. it was very meh, for me.

Mediocre

Narration:
While the narrator wasn’t bad by any means, I think she was the wrong choice for an 18 year old girl. It was just meh.

Story:
So much over explaining of EVERYTHING. It get like the author expects her readers to be simpletons or wrote this for a 13 year old audience. I wanted to like the story, but it was underdeveloped. There’s so much more that could’ve been done with the story and the climactic points could’ve had better build up and revelation.
