Along The Way

“I’m not turning to you to heal my pain, I’m turning to you because you’re the only one I want to feel it with.” When tragedy strikes and steals away one of the beloved members of the tightly knit Pierce and Baxter families, childhood friends, and neighbors Ellie Baxter and Sutton Pierce embark on a disastrous road trip home. As each messy mile brings them closer to their grief-stricken families, they learn more and more about the people they’ve become, the baggage they are carrying, and the inescapable and unexpected feelings they are developing for each other. While they come to terms with the hand they’re dealt, they learn that sometimes, love is found in the midst of devastation.
