Great listen!

This is a fantastic twisty, turny story with a very unexpected ending. NL writes amazing stories that take you on a suspense filled adventure and keeps you guessing of “who did it” until the end.
Daniela Acitelli did a wonderful job giving the characters voice, emotion and personality.

An enjoyable, unique 4 1/2 star read!

All But Safe: A psychological suspense thriller (Wicked Ways Collection - Standalone Thrillers), my ninth amazing (252-page/7-hour 13-minute) read from author N.L. Hinkens. I enjoyed the outstanding suspense story-line with its intricately woven twists and turns, more knots than Alexander the Greats Gordian Knot, I saw the end coming with about 2 1/2 hours remaing but had to read to the end to know! Norma (N.L.) Hinkens is on my radar of great authors! I was given an Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. Narrator Daniela Acitelli's narration added to the book's enjoyment. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Buckle up, whiplash ahead!!

I’ve been reading and listening to Norma Hinkens’ books for quite a while and after reading 10 of her books I’ve come to realize that with each new book I’m in for a rollercoaster ride. In the case of All but Safe, my 11th book, this rollercoaster ride was filled with plenty of hard turns and quick drops that kept me off balance. I was so sure who was tormenting Lexi and Cash throughout this story, of course every time I had it figured out something new occurred and I was back to square one. Like the previous 10 books, All but Safe quickly became my favorite book from Norma Hinkens, and I’m sure when the next book shows up it will also become my favorite, simply because her stories are unpredictable and include excellent well-developed characters.

My original review was written in November of 2023, now January 2024 I just listened to the audiobook expertly narrated by Daniela Acitelli. If I thought the entertainment level of reading the book was excellent, Daniela’s narration took the book to the next level by making the story and each character come to life.

I received an Advance Reader Copy of All but Safe and a review copy of the audiobook from the author and chose to provide my honest review.

D+ at best

This was so painfully predictable it was almost insufferable. I did make it through the end, I kept thinking it would get better. Also, the narrator has a robotic voice. The mothers voice is so annoying
