Acerca de esta escucha
Step into the wonderfully whimsical world of Alisha’s Eccentric Escapades: The Girl Who Saw Beyond, a rollicking ride filled with laughter, profound realizations, and a dash of delightful rebellion. This book is more than a collection of stories: it's a rallying cry for dreamers, doers, and all who believe in the transformative magic of change.
Inspired by Caroline Criado Perez's groundbreaking work Invisible Women, this narrative probes the realm of what-ifs. What if the young could recognize societal biases early on? What if they dared to challenge the status quo? And most importantly, what if they held the motivation and resources to rewrite the narrative?
In the midst of this captivating narrative stands our protagonist, Alisha— spirited, courageous, and viewing the world through a refreshingly quirky prism. In Alisha's universe, laughter can ignite a revolution, curiosity fuels action, and every girl possesses the potential to redefine societal norms.
Embark on a journey with Alisha through her eccentric escapades as she questions gender biases and challenges established norms, all while radiating a mischievous charm and an infectious laughter. Each adventure is designed to empower its listeners, reinforcing the belief that the ripple of change can originate from any age or location.
Alisha, as depicted in these stories, serves as a mirror, reflecting every girl who dares to push boundaries and dream without restrictions. She encapsulates the experiences of all girls, irrespective of where they come from.
Alisha’s Eccentric Escapades is not just a compilation of tales; it's a narrative that prompts us to reconsider our perceptions and understanding of the world around us. So, buckle up and prepare for a laughter-filled, educational journey as we collectively strive towards fostering a more balanced and equitable world. Remember, just like laughter, the genesis of change starts with you.

Never too young to learn about becoming a feminist!
The cover of this book grabbed me. For a kids book there’s a lot of big words. So, kiddos might get lost. But the narrator’s voice is very entertaining to listen to. He sounds like a cartoon character so I can see a parent playing this for a baby or a toddler so they have that ambience of an enthusiastic and warm voice to keep them company, etc. That said I was surprised the voice was male for a book about female empowerment! Still, very well done!
