An expedition is sent to Jupiter to investigate a mysterious, alien “artifact.” Triggered by their arrival, a gigantic Star Gate is activated. Suffering terrible damage to their spaceship, the crew struggles to recover. Meanwhile, huge “bubbles” emerge that begin investigating the solar system. Determined to prevent that surveillance from being sent back to the Artifact’s builders, the crew prepares to make the ultimate sacrifice.

On Earth and the Moon, governments and societies crumble. Confronted with an alien weapon poised to knock the planet out of its orbit, even religions crumble. The ultimate space battle looms. Yet the fate of mankind rests not upon nuclear weapons but a young mother and her newborn baby.

This epic space odyssey is an ode to fighting to the bitter end, even when confronting an unbeatable enemy.
