Just read Ovi's Wiki page and save time and money

As hockey fans and fans of Alex Ovechkin, my son and I were really excited to listen to this book. I can tell you after 32 min of listening to someone read what amounts to Ovi's Wikipedia page and statistical achievements we were pretty disappointed to say the least. There were no insightful or interesting stories. Nothing with any substance about Ovi's life growing up beyond general statements. No good hockey stories or interviews from friends or family that help the reader to learn who Ovechkin is and how he became the person he is today. This is a real shame considering the impact on Ice Hockey, the Washington D.C area, and his home country of Russia he has had. The book is repetitive and boring!!

Let me reiterate there is absolutely nothing in this book that you cannot find for free with a quick internet search. I really believe this book is so bad any positive reviews must be friends and family of the author. I could literally write this book in one day about anybody with access to the internet.

I hope this review not only saves you a few bucks but more importantly the 30 min of wasted time listening to this.
